The Latest Reopening Guidance from New York State

New York State has issued sector-specific reopening guidelines for manufacturing, construction, retail and agribusiness sectors subject to the state’s phase 1 reopening plan. Businesses that are reopening are required to affirm that they’ve read and are complying with the guidelines, and the state provides a template that can be used for required company-specific safety plans. The plans are not required to be submitted to the state, but must be made available for inspection by state and local officials, and also must be communicated to employees and posted in the workplace.
