Walsh Duffield 2022 Community Impact Report

At Walsh Duffield, we believe that true success goes beyond business accomplishments. It lies in our ability to make a positive impact on the communities we serve. We proudly present our annual Impact Report, showcasing our remarkable contributions to Western New York nonprofits in 2022. Through philanthropy, volunteerism, and corporate social responsibility, we have demonstrated our unwavering commitment to empowering and strengthening our local community.

A Year of Generosity

In 2022, Walsh Duffield invested an impressive $920,760 in Western New York nonprofits. This investment includes corporate contributions of $186,987, employee donations totaling $282,889, and an astounding 4,915 hours of volunteer service from our dedicated team. We are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to support 48 nonprofit organizations, each making a significant
difference in their respective areas.

Supporting Diverse Causes

While education nonprofits hold a special place in our hearts, we understand the importance of addressing a wide range of issues to create a thriving society. Our Impact Report reveals that one-fifth of our donations were directed towards education-focused initiatives. However, we also champion causes such as child welfare, social services, community development, and more. Together, we can uplift and empower our community, one cause at a time. “Our company is very fortunate to have many loyal customers who have helped us grow and prosper. We are honored to give back to our communities through wonderful organizations with our time, guidance, and financial support.” – Edward Walsh Jr., CEO.

Volunteerism: Going the Extra Mile

At Walsh Duffield, our employees are the driving force behind our community initiatives. They not only contribute financially but also generously give their time and skills. In 2022 alone, our team dedicated a remarkable 4,915 hours to volunteer service, actively making a difference in the lives of those in need. We are proud to foster a culture that values service and empowers our employees to create meaningful change.

Mental Health Advocacy

At Walsh Duffield, we understand that mental health is a vital aspect of overall wellbeing. Approximately 75% of our employees express concern about mental health, which has inspired us to support initiatives that promote mental wellness within our community. By prioritizing mental health, we aim to create a healthier and more compassionate society.
