Promotion of Christopher Kempton leads to Addition of Mike Conroy

Walsh Duffield is pleased to announce the promotion of Christopher Kempton to Executive Vice President, Director of Business Development. Over the past 19 years, Chris has focused on building our employee benefits practice from the ground up – making it one of the most respected and qualified in the WNY area.

“We are excited to have Chris’s leadership and vision as he transitions to this important position and helps our organization focus on client support and profitable growth” said Sean Keenan, President & Chief Operating Officer.

Within his role as Director of Business Development, Chris will be able to leverage his talents and passion to guide our sales efforts across the entire Walsh Duffield enterprise – helping our Agency to continue to grow and remain independent.

With this transition, we are excited to announce that Mike Conroy will be joining the Walsh Duffield team as Vice President, Director of Group Benefits.

Mike comes to Walsh Duffield with 24+ years of insurance experience both on the carrier and broker sides. He has spent time at Independent Health and BlueCross BlueShield and most recently was the Director of Group Benefits at M&T Insurance Agency.

“We are very excited to have Mike part of the Walsh Duffield Team,” said Chris Kempton who previously held the role of Group Benefits Director. “Mike’s industry experience, analytical skills, and local leadership adds foundational strength for our Group Benefit clients for years to come.”

Mike brings a proven track record that will help guide the strategic direction of our Benefits Department into the future. We look forward to the ways that he will enhance our already great team.
