With four recent new hires, Walsh Duffield is pleased to share the news of growth and emerging leadership within our Commercial Lines department.
Commercial Insurance Leadership Additions
Joseph Fruscione has joined our team as Director of Commercial Lines. Within this role, Joe will guide the Walsh Duffield team, helping to strengthen relationships with our clients. He comes to us with close to 30 years of leadership experience in both finance and insurance. Early in his career, Joe ran a small family-owned agency with his father in Lewiston and he has since worked in a variety of managerial roles overseeing both service and sales teams. Joe has spent the past two years supporting the growth of M&T’s insurance footprint throughout Western New York as their Commercial Lines Manager.
“Joe is an effective communicator that values opportunities to build collaborative relationships,” explains Sean Keenan, President & Chief Operating Officer. “We are excited that his personal values align so closely with our professional culture objectives. I look forward to the ways that Joe will guide our commercial lines team into the future.”
In addition, we welcome Michael Fridman as Manager Commercial Lines Operations – Rochester. Within this role, Michael will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day activities of the commercial team as well handling key client relationships. Michael comes to us after spending the last 9 years at USI where he was most recently a Senior Account Manger supporting a variety of business clients in the healthcare, education, and construction sectors. Prior to that, Michael spent 5 years as the Supervisor of a call center where he was asked to train, mentor, and guide a telecommunications team. In addition, Michael has spent the past 20 years serving as a coach and director for a competitive club soccer organization in Rochester.
“We are thrilled for the many ways Michael will leverage his technical strengths and prior mentorship experiences to enhance our service and growth goals in the Rochester market,” said Keenan.
